TabTrade — What It Is
TabTrade went live in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
FIX API is available for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Here is the part that matters. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense is your call.
The Bonus
TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you deposit.
